Established and operated this full service interior design firm with Design Studios in St. Croix, USVI, and Jacksonville, Florida bringing it into national prominence through the use of creative, original, and functional design solutions with high standards of quality control. It is a diverse practice with project types ranging from destination resorts, restaurants, corporate offices, and corporate jets to high end residential, commercial/contract and institutional markets.
 

7/85 – 12/89 DOROTHY DRAPER & CO. INC. - NYC, NY

Project Manager for this high profile Hospitality Design firm. Managed large projects for hotels, resorts, commercial and high-end residential clients on projects throughout the US and the Caribbean. Retired from this firm as Director of Design, Caribbean.
 

7/83 – 6/85 EDWARD DURELL STONE & ASSOCIATES, ARCHITECTS - NYC, NY

Senior Designer at this greatly respected architectural firm in the interior design department. Produced design and construction documents for commercial banks, corporate clients, and high-end residential clients.
 

6/82 – 6/83 CONTI GRAPPO INTERIORS INC. - NYC, NY

Designer, Purchaser and Resource Manager at this small residential design firm. Produced design and construction documents and assisted clients with purchasing.
 

3/79 – 3/80 AIR INDIA - MUMBAI, INDIA

Assistant designer for Corporate Office Projects nationally and internationally including reservation offices, airport check in areas, lounges and overseas manager’s residences. Tasks included space planning, construction documents, detailing check in counters, ergonomically designed workstations, selection of FF&E, art selection, procurement, purchasing, and shipping arrangements.
 

8/76 – 2/79 PREMNATH & ASSOCIATES - MUMBAI, INDIA
Starting as an intern and graduating into an assistant designer at this well respected Architectural and Interior Design firm specializing in hospitality, corporate and high end residential projects. Tasks included space planning, drafting and documentation.
